My name is Jena Murray and I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I travel extensively for wedding, portrait, and commercial photography, so this blog is my way of keeping in touch with clients. I also hope you'll find it a wealth of information regarding additional studio information and for connecting with recommended vendors who I love to work with. Last, but not least, I look forward to sharing the lastest and greatest happenings from the studio and around the world!

My background is in... photography! I started shooting when I was in middle school, as a hobby amongst many other hobbies. In college, I decided to get more serious about my interest and talents within the photography field and earned my BFA in 2001. After a brief stint of teaching ski school in Colorado (everyone needs to ski bum at least once in their life!), I went to work with several photographers to further my craft and learn from the best. In 2004, I opened my own studio and have been blessed with amazing clients ever since!

When not behind the lens, you'll find me either on the ski slopes (nope... didn't get it out of my system... still a ski bum at heart) or kayaking in the great surf of Oregon and Washington. And of course, daily walks with the dog that end at our local nearby park for a game of "throw the ball 'til he drops". Funny, the dog never does...
